 Closed Door Queer Romance  Recommendations    What is closed door ro mance?   I wanted to give a bit of context to closed door romance, if you already know/just want to see the dang books, you can skip this😁) Closed door romance, or fade to black as it's sometimes called, refers to a type of book with no explicit scenes between characters. Usually, not always, there will be a kiss on screen and then that's where it 'fades to black' or stops.     Why is this distinction needed? Good question! To be explicitly (heh) clear, I am NOT suggesting there's anything wrong with books that have explicit scenes. I'm not intending to make some weird puritanical argument where closed door is gold star standard.  There are a multitude of reasons why someone might refer closed door. They could be reading in public and would prefer closed door, they could be on the ace spectrum and sex-averse/repulsed, or maybe that's just what they want to read in the mome...
